Lips
Lips are a predominant feature of the face and everyone’s wish is to correct any irregularities, either congenital or acquired with age. For improvement of the aesthetic appearance of smaller lips, asymmetry or a pale colour, it is necessary to enlarge the size and the red surface itself.
To achieve a natural look of the lips, we use the patient’s own lip tissue as a filler in our workplace. The tissue is transferred under local anaesthesia from the inner lip side under the red lip area.
In-patient stay is not necessary after the surgery, lip swellings are mitigated by the cold or, better, ice compresses. The sutures are removed approximately after 10 days.
